Jamie Snell is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Director of Client Finance at Caldwell Penn, appointed to the role in January 2026 following a number of years on the firm’s leadership team. He heads up the Client Finance team and works closely with owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sectors, including technology start-ups, consultants, property, manufacturing and distribution, and hospitality.
With over 14 years’ experience in practice, Jamie acts as a trusted adviser to business owners and management teams, helping them better understand their numbers, strengthen decision-making and build more resilient, valuable businesses. His advisory work spans outsourced Finance Director support, forecasting, strategic planning and preparing businesses for future growth or eventual exit.
Having joined Caldwell Penn in 2015, Jamie has progressed steadily through the firm, taking on increasing responsibility before stepping into his current role. He oversees the delivery of the firm’s compliance and advisory services, including statutory accounts, management accounts, remuneration planning, forecasting, bookkeeping and VAT compliance, whilst ensuring clients receive the kind of proactive, commercially minded support that goes well beyond the annual return.
Jamie is known for his ability to translate complex financial matters into clear, practical guidance and for being genuinely invested in the outcomes of the businesses he advises. He prides himself on becoming a trusted and enduring part of each client’s team.
